As "Unlimited" being your standalone version, you are alowed many things like modding both your client and server.
Like the online version you always connect to some server to play:
This can be :
- Your own private offline for only you to use
- A public listed server with or without password (mostly run by other players)
- A server run by a friend or you connected directly by IP-address
- A public server run by you (listed or unlisted)
Except the first this would often mean running a dedicated server downloaded from steam tools section
